Been praying for this guy since I was 16
Jesus is King, a message that’s been preached for over 2000 years. Nearly all have suffered for this message (some much more than others) but there always seems to be some kind of scrutiny that comes up against the preaching of the Gospel. Enter Kanye West 2019, that one dude who was never afraid to say what’s on his mind. I’ve been praying for Kanye to know Jesus since I was 16 & haven’t stopped since. Ever since I heard “The College Dropout” my views on hip hop changed dramatically. I fell in love with the genre in a whole new way. The sampling, memorable choruses, & really clever rhyming set the bar super high in 2004. Yes we had other dope artists out at the moment: OutKast, Busta, Eminem, etc. but Kanye brought a whole new sound. One thing you have to admire about Kanye is his persistence in always pushing his music to the next level.
